Held in Shimotsuke City, Tochigi Prefecture, "Yoshidamura Autumn Festival 2026" is a festival that revives the traditions and vibrancy of Yoshida Village, blessed with fertile land, in modern times. Visitors can enjoy Bon Odori dancing, ohayashi festival music, fair-style food and game stalls that once colored Yoshida Village, as well as fireworks lighting up the night sky. From small children to seniors, it is a timeless, nostalgic, yet fresh style of autumn festival that can be enjoyed across generations. This year, the timing has been adjusted to avoid the extreme heat. The venue is scheduled to feature a Yoshida Village amateur singing contest, performances by the Yoshida Ohayashi Kai, and a guest live performance by singer-songwriter Ibuki Nakamura. There will also be Bon Odori dancing and a fireworks display to liven up the atmosphere. Stalls are currently being prepared and are known for their lively crowds every year. The event will proceed rain or shine, and since it is held inside the gymnasium of the former Yoshida Higashi Elementary School, visitors can enjoy it regardless of the weather. Packed with activities like a "Let's Sing Together! Yoshida Kouta" corner and a high-energy "Everyone DE Karaoke!" after-party, this event lets you savor the charm of Yoshida Village all day long.
