On Monday (national holiday), October 12, 2026 (Sports Day), the '4th Oyama Sports Festival' will be held at the Oyama Athletic Park Track and Field Stadium in Oyama City. This event provides opportunities to experience sports through various competitions and attractions. Visitors can enjoy authentic sports with players and coaches, including a baseball experience corner by the Tochigi Golden Braves, rugby, and tennis. In the 'Sports Test' open to both children and adults, you can challenge five categories: flexibility, balance, muscle strength, ball throw, and 25m dash. Additionally, an advance reservation-based 'Running Class' and 'Dodgeball Class' will be held with a participation fee of 1,000 yen per person each. Same-day participation is also possible if vacancies exist. Other activities include vision training and a stamp rally. At the gourmet booths, Ichigo no Sato, Otoppe, Kashoan, Gin no Ji, Golazo, and mofu are scheduled to open stalls, offering crepes, hot dogs, grilled dango, onigiri, curry bread, cotton candy, and more. Admission is free, though some programs require fees.
