About this event
The 'Irodori Variety Entertainment Show', hosted by the Oyama City Omoigawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is an event where you can casually enjoy a variety of traditional entertainment, including rakugo (comic storytelling), kodan (historical storytelling), magic, and shamisen singing. You can spend a laugh-filled time with your family and friends. On the day, performances will feature kodan by Kotokaku Takarai, talking magic by Yuba Ito, rakugo by Oyama-native Yaraku Charitei and amateur rakugo storyteller Juhachi Ukiyotei, and shamisen singing by Ponta Miharabashi. The event is open to 4th-grade elementary school students and above who can listen to long talks, with all unreserved seating for a capacity of 400 people. Admission is free, and registration will close on a first-come, first-served basis on the day once capacity is reached.
