Held at the Mamada Hachimangu Sumo Ring in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, the '3rd Oyawan Grand Prix: Amateur Women's Sumo Tournament' is a unique sumo competition for adult women. Participants can experience the essence of sumo on a historic dohyo ring that was also used as a filming location for movies such as 'Sumo Do, Sumo Don't' and 'Thermae Romae II.' Participation is limited to self-proclaimed amateurs aged 16 and older, offering a welcoming opportunity even for those with no prior sumo experience. Luxurious prizes are prepared for the winners, and all participants will receive a commemorative gift. Advance registration is required, with applications accepted from August 1 to August 30. A special experience awaits where you can take on the powerful and fun challenge of sumo on a ring famous as a movie set.
