72nd Ashino Shoten Fireworks Festival

About this event

This fireworks display is held in conjunction with the festival day of Sanko-ji Temple in Nasu Town, Nasu District, Tochigi Prefecture, which is one of Japan's Three Great Shoten temples. Approximately 50 open-air stalls line Nakamachi Street, and the traditional, atmospheric summer festival bustles with many visitors. Guests can enjoy colorful fireworks and street food stalls, admiring dynamic fireworks such as starmine fireworks. Stage events are also scheduled on the day, further enlivening the festive atmosphere.
