Akagi Nature Park Autumn Foliage

Akagi Nature Park is an expansive, therapeutic forest located on the western foot of Mount Akagi, where visitors can enjoy enveloping autumn foliage created by a rich variety of trees, including over 20 species of maples, beeches, and konara oaks. Please enjoy a relaxing stroll while being soothed by nature's changing colors as autumn deepens. The best viewing time is usually from late October to mid-November, though it may vary depending on the weather. The park is open from April to November every day except Tuesdays (open daily with no closures in April and May). If a Tuesday falls on a national holiday, the park will be open. Opening hours are from 9:00 to 16:30 (last admission at 15:30). The venue is located at 892 Minamiakagisan, Akagimachi, Shibukawa City, and is equipped with free parking for 400 vehicles. Admission is 1,000 yen for adults (high school students and older) and free for junior high school students and younger. Additional participation fees may be required depending on programs, tours, or events.
