Tomioka-Kanra Specialty Exhibition

About this event

This is a limited 2-day event at the World Heritage Site Tomioka Silk Mill, gathering delicious foods and specialty products from the Tomioka-Kanra region. Famous local shops will gather to sell rice crackers (senbei), shichimi togarashi (seven-flavor chili pepper), Japanese and Western sweets, silk products, health foods, jams, konjac products, mulberry tea, and more. In addition to shopping, visitors can enjoy meet-and-greets with the popular character "Otomi-chan" and a lottery to win luxurious prizes. An eat-in space is fully provided within the venue, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy shopping. It will be held at the Tomioka Silk Mill National Treasure "West Cocoon Warehouse" Multi-purpose Hall, and visitors from outside the city will need to pay the Tomioka Silk Mill admission fee.
