Design Picture Diary 2026 Exhibition

About this event

An exhibition featuring works where children express designs they found 'nice' or 'interesting' around Asahikawa and its surroundings using pictures and words. Designs found in everyday scenery—such as bridges, manhole covers, playground equipment, buildings, zoos, shopping malls, furniture, packaging, and signs—are introduced from children's perspectives. It is an exhibition that slightly changes the way you see the city after viewing it. This exhibition is held at the Design Gallery, and an awards ceremony will also be held on the first day. Visitors can enjoy the world of design captured from children's unique viewpoints.
