About this event
The "34th Gunma Prefectural Hike in Nanmoku Village," touring the mountains of Western Joshu adorned with autumn foliage, will be held. This event aims to promote health while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery. Participants can select a course suited to their fitness and skill level to fully enjoy the rich nature of Nanmoku Village. On the day of the event, clothing and equipment suitable for mountaineering and hiking (backpack, hiking boots, rain gear, water, food, hat, etc.) are required. Because parking is limited, participants are encouraged to carpool. In the event of rain, "forest road walks" and similar activities are scheduled to take place. Those wishing to stay overnight can apply directly to Nanmoku Village Nature Park, Minshuku Tsukigatanoen, Kajika Club, or Minshuku Kawakubo. The event is organized by the Gunma Workers' Alpine Federation and Nanmoku Village, supported by many affiliated mountaineering clubs and hiking clubs.
