About this event
September 25 is 'Jugoya', said to be the night when the moon is most beautiful all year round. Why not experience this traditional event, cherished by Japanese people since the Heian period, at the Tsumagoi Local Museum this year? You can listen to 'Stories About the Moon' shared by Members of the Friends Association, and enjoy a 'cup of tea' accompanied by 'melodies of music' echoing on an autumn night. At the end, everyone looks up at the night sky together to carefully 'view' the large moon. With traditional culture made very accessible, content is prepared for everyone to enjoy.
