About this event

This is a "Student Eki-Hai" hiking course conceived by students from the local Prefectural Naganohara High School. The walking course visits spots such as Ojojosan Shrine, which is associated with Yamato Takeru no Mikoto, and the "Yanba Tenmei Mudflow Museum", where you can learn about the history of Mount Asama's Great Tenmei Eruption. History buffs and those not very familiar with history alike can fully enjoy the hidden charms of Naganohara Town. "Student Eki-Hai" refers to a course created by local students pooling their ideas together. The walking distance is approximately 8.7 km, and the required time is approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes (including facility tour time). Please download the smartphone app "Eki kara Hiking App" and come directly to the starting location during the reception hours during the event period. No advance reservation is required.
