"Yubatake Marche 2026" will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Yuro Square around Yubatake, the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, various booths by local shops and organizations will line up right next to Yubatake, which is rich with hot spring ambiance. With 19 businesses and organizations scheduled to open stalls, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of foods, including all-you-can-pack imo-kenpi (candied sweet potato fries), homemade baked sweets and in-house roasted coffee, bread and sandwiches, apple pies and mont blanc, handmade soba noodles, grilled marshmallow skewers using Gunma-grown shiitake mushrooms, tonjiru (pork miso soup), yakisoba, mushroom soup, frankfurters, and steam inari sushi. In addition, sales and promotions of fresh flowers, potted flowers, and original goods are planned, offering plenty of enjoyment not only in tasting food but also in exploring various shops. Cute illustrations themed around yumomi (water cooling ritual) and hot springs, drawn by pupils of Kusatsu Elementary School, will also brighten up the venue. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine, making for a day where you can enjoy flavors and encounters unique to autumn at Kusatsu Onsen.
