Oze Katashina Autumn Harvest Thanksgiving Festival

About this event

The "Oze Katashina Autumn Harvest Thanksgiving Festival" will be held to express gratitude for the vegetables harvested in Katashina Village and to the producers, while aiming for the future development of agriculture. This event aims to introduce Katashina Village's vegetables and agriculture to a wide range of people, organized in cooperation with related organizations. Main events scheduled include free servings of "tonjiru" pork miso soup made with Katashina-grown mushrooms, Tone-Numata pork, and konjac; a grand raffle with luxurious prizes; an udon big-eating contest; a food and agriculture True-or-False quiz; and a mochi rice-cake throwing event. In addition, visitors can enjoy a Gunma-chan stage show, Gunma-chan inflatable dome, all-you-can-stuff mandarin oranges, free milk distribution, special Japan Self-Defense Forces vehicle exhibition, Oze Taiko drum performance, Odorigumi dance, wild grape juice tasting and sales, Oze apple sales, piping hot roasted sweet potato sales, JA Tone Numata special sale booth, agricultural machinery exhibition, and Gunma Toyota Group "C+Walk Test Drive Event". The overall MCs will be the comedy duo Ankan Minkan, who are the Gunma Resident Comedians.
