Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Shrine Light-up Event: Tokimusubi no Mori
Japanese name:武蔵一宮氷川神社 ライトアップイベント 〜時結びの杜〜
📅 Sat, Nov 7, 2026 - Mon, Nov 23, 2026
About this event
From Saturday, November 7, to Monday, November 23, 2026 (national holiday), the light-up event 'Tokimusubi no Mori' will be held at Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Shrine in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. Under the theme of Omiya's history and traditions, this event uses light to express a story connecting the past and the future. The nighttime shrine grounds, usually inaccessible, transform into an enchanting space. In addition to the illumination of the Ni-no-Torii and San-no-Torii gates, projection mapping will be projected onto the Ro-mon (tower gate) and other structures, allowing visitors to enjoy the shrine's appearance in a different way than during the daytime. Having attracted approximately 52,000 visitors last year, this popular event returns with completely refreshed content this year. It runs from 17:30 to 20:00 Monday through Thursday, and from 17:30 to 21:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, with free admission. Priority admission tickets are also available to avoid weekend crowds and enter smoothly. Why not take this opportunity to experience a magical night in Omiya where the historic grove of Hikawa Shrine merges with cutting-edge digital technology?
