"Kissako TOKOROZAWA TEA FES 2026" is one of the largest tea festivals in Eastern Japan, held from Saturday, October 31 to Tuesday (public holiday), November 3, 2026, at Tokorozawa Sakura Town. Tea farms, specialty tea shops, and importers gather from all across Japan, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the diverse world of tea, including Japanese tea, black tea, Chinese tea, and Indian black tea. At the event, a tasting rally will be held where you can sample domestic Japanese teas from regions such as Sayama, Shizuoka, Ibaraki, and Kagoshima, as well as Chinese tea, Taiwanese tea, and Indian tea. Through interactions with producers and specialty shops, you can discover the varied appeals of tea, while carefully selected tea leaves, tea utensils, tea accessories, and sweets that pair well with tea will also be on sale. Furthermore, seminars and workshops focusing on tea brewing and tasting are scheduled during the event period, allowing visitors to enjoy specialized tea-related programs, such as a seminar by the Japan Tea Association on October 31, and the 3rd screening and Japanese Tea Beverage Division screening for the Japanese Tea AWARD 2026 on November 1. Admission is free, but participation in the tasting rally requires a fee.
