About this event
Jointly hosted by Isesaki City in Gunma Prefecture and Honjo City in Saitama Prefecture, the Tonegawa Bando Ohashi Fireworks Festival is set against the Tone River, launching spectacular fireworks including shells up to 1-shaku in size. A total of 12 programs are scheduled, featuring starmines, artistic fireworks, and large shell competitions, allowing visitors to enjoy a feast of light and sound that colors the night sky. The launch site is on the Tone River riverbed around Yattajima Chibikko Square, while viewing areas are located at Yattajima Chibikko Square on the Isesaki City side and the Tone River Free Space and gentle-slope embankment on the Honjo City side. Traffic restrictions will be in effect on the day, so checking details in advance and using designated temporary parking lots is recommended. Paid parking (advance reservation required) is also available. Reserving spots around the venue, using open flames, and flying drones are strictly prohibited.
