Under the themes of 'Watch,' 'Do,' and 'Enjoy,' the sports and recreation hands-on event 'Sports & Recreation Festa 2026' will be held in Honjo City, Saitama Prefecture. Divided across three venues—Honjo General Park Area, Wakaizumi Athletic Park Area, and Takahashi Sauce Ecopia—a total of 32 activity corners will be conducted. Food trucks and other vendors will be present in the Honjo General Park Area, and visitor gifts will be prepared at each venue. A shuttle bus running between venues will also operate, allowing visitors to tour the various locations. You can decide which activities you want to try in advance or pick whatever looks fun on the day; it is an event that anyone of all ages and genders can join or simply enjoy watching. No advance registration is required to participate; just visit the activity booths that interest you on the day. Depending on the sport/activity, reception hours, capacity limits, and operating times may differ from the overall event hours, so checking the brochure for details is necessary. Participants who try an activity will receive a Sports Hanipon button badge as a gift.
