Held at Okegawa Civic Hall, the 'Popular Theater Shitamachi Kabukigumi Gekidan Mitsuminegumi Family Okegawa Special Performance' is a vibrant stage dedicated to senior generations. The heartwarming period drama 'Sode Suriau mo Tashou!? no En,' full of laughs and tears, will be staged. The troupe leader is Toru Mitsumine, who went through the Japan Institute of the Moving Image and Japan Action Club before becoming a disciple of actor Makoto Matsui. Skilled in sword fighting (tate) and taiko drum shows, he is a talented performer with many fans nationwide as a captivating onnagata (female role performer). This performance is held as part of the Okegawa City Respect for the Aged Project 2026.
