Held in the Washinomiya district of Kuki City, the 'Washinomiya Cosmos Festa' promotes and introduces the city's official flower, 'cosmos,' blooming along the Cosmos Fureai Road on both banks of the Kasai Irrigation Canal to people inside and outside the city, while deepening interaction between local commercial/industrial businesses, organizations, and citizens. At the venue, visitors can enjoy activities such as cosmos picking donations, a Commerce and Industry Association gourmet food plaza, a stamp rally, a petting zoo, and monkey performances. Approximately 6 million cosmos flowers, which usually reach peak bloom from mid-October to early November, fascinate visitors. In 2026, it is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 25, with various events planned alongside cosmos viewing.
