Sky Lantern in Miyashiro-machi 2026

About this event

"Sky Lantern in Miyashiro-machi 2026" will be held at Hara'ppark Miyashiro in Miyashiro Town, Saitama Prefecture. At this event, 300 sky lanterns will soar into the Miyashiro night sky, offering a special one-night-only experience where 300 wishes illuminate the night. Participants can freely write their dreams and wishes on lanterns and wait for the launch together with their loved ones. At the venue, food trucks, food and drink stalls, and stage events such as performances by the Momoma Junior High School Brass Band, a trumpet ensemble, and the Wadojuku Neighborhood Association Ohayashi (traditional festival music) are scheduled, allowing visitors to enjoy a lively atmosphere. It will be a memorable night where you can dine and laugh on the spacious lawn while looking up at the sky with your loved ones as the light carrying your wishes floats up into the night. In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the following day, Monday (public holiday), October 12.
