44th Niseko Marathon Festival

The "44th Niseko Marathon Festival," a beloved autumn tradition in Niseko, will be held. This family marathon takes runners through Niseko's beautiful nature turning into autumn colors, offering a variety of categories: a 1 km fun run for parents and children to enjoy together, an accessible 3 km run, a 10 km run testing speed and stamina, and a signature half marathon course running up tough mountain roads in Niseko Town. Participants will receive generous participation prizes, such as a 500-yen marathon coupon usable within Niseko Town, a hot spring (onsen) voucher, and a potato exchange ticket, allowing runners to receive many gifts just by participating. Junki Yokono, a former player of Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo, is scheduled to participate as a guest runner, running the half marathon alongside participants and appearing for pre-race greetings. Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with a capacity of 1,200 participants, so early application is recommended. Details can be checked on the official website.
