The 102nd Japan Open Water Swimming Championships, to be held in fiscal year 2026, is the premier open water swimming competition set against the backdrop of Hojo Beach in Tateyama City, Chiba Prefecture. OWS is the ultimate long-distance swimming race held in natural settings such as the ocean, rivers, and lakes, testing not only swimming ability but also strategy, judgment, and mental fortitude.
