The "Mobara Autumn Festival Joint Mikoshi Procession" will be held, bringing together portable shrines (mikoshi) from the Mobara and Takashi districts as bearers parade heroically through the city streets with vigorous chants. Five mikoshi from the Mobara and Takashi districts assemble in front of JR Mobara Station for a powerful festival filled with intense jostling as they parade through town accompanied by spirited calls. It is a major event in Mobara City that attracts many spectators not only from within the city but also from neighboring areas. The Japanese taiko drum performance welcoming the mikoshi is also breathtaking, enlivening the festival and allowing visitors to experience the vibrancy and tradition of the town. Mikoshi bearers are also being recruited, welcoming participants to help liven up the festival together. Start times may shift depending on the progress of the mikoshi procession. The event will be canceled in case of severe weather.
