Star Camp Kamogawa 2026: Autumn & Winter Stargazing Session
Japanese name:スターキャンプ鴨川2026 ～秋・冬の星空観察会～
📅 Sat, Nov 28, 2026
About this event
This is a special stargazing session to enjoy the transition from autumn to winter night skies under a canopy of stars within a quiet forest. Co-hosted with the Kimitsu Astronomical Society, participants will observe autumn and winter constellations as well as the beautiful Pleiades star cluster (Subaru). The venue is Uchiurayama Prefectural Forest, surrounded by rich nature and equipped with log cabins and walking paths. Stargazing is weather-resilient; even in the event of rain, visitors can enjoy talks and stories about the stars. Please come prepared with comfortable clothing and warm attire to fully enjoy the charm of the starry sky. You may bring your own astronomical telescope, though no instructional guidance on operation will be provided.
