Obitsu District Hometown Festival & Fireworks Display

Held in Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture, the "Obitsu District Hometown Festival & Fireworks Display" is a lively festival centered on local residents, held at Obitsu Sports Ground. On the day, diverse entertainment is scheduled, including Bon Odori, local performing arts, street performances, and dance, with many food stalls lining the venue. At night, a fireworks display lasting about 30 minutes will be held, coloring the night sky. Programs that can be enjoyed by both children and adults are prepared, such as a children's bingo tournament, kids' jazz dance, hula dance, magic shows, and the Bubble Man. The fireworks launch time is for 30 minutes from 6:25 PM. Access to the venue is about a 12-minute walk from JR Kururi Line Obitsu Station, or about 10 minutes by car from Kisarazu-Higashi IC. A temporary parking lot is also scheduled to be set up.
