Held in Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture, the "Living Water Village Kururi Castle Festival" is a festival where you can experience traditional Japanese culture, centering around the Kururi Shopping Street. The main event, a samurai warrior procession wearing handmade armor parading through the former castle town, is an impressive sight that captivates visitors. On the day of the event, a diverse variety of entertainment is planned, including sword dances, marching bands, shigin (poetry recitation), karaoke, koto performances, nodate (open-air tea ceremony), and kids' dance. Visitors can also enjoy the JA direct sales store, Sake Museum, public opening of the Tamaru Residence of Kuroda clan retainers, and guided tours by volunteer guides. It is an event rich in local character where you can experience Japanese history and culture.
