The Kishimojin Oeshiki Grand Festival, held at Ikousan Homyo-ji Temple, is one of the important annual events of the Nichiren sect of Buddhism. Held at the Kishimojin-do Hall, this festival expresses gratitude and repaying of kindness to Kishimojin Sonten and draws many worshippers. Located in Zoshigaya, Homyo-ji Temple has long been cherished by local residents. During the Oeshiki Grand Festival, Buddhist memorial services and various rituals are performed, passing down its history and tradition to the present day as a central event of Kishimojin worship.
