Tomonori Taniguchi Exhibition: Through the Black Forest — Gray Me and Orange Him

Picture book author Tomonori Taniguchi's exhibition, "Tomonori Taniguchi Exhibition: Through the Black Forest — Gray Me and Orange Him," will be held at Musashino City Kichijoji Art Museum. This exhibition introduces the warm world of works by Mr. Taniguchi, known for his Santa picture book series with over 470,000 copies in cumulative print, bringing dreams and hope to children around the world. Of particular note are all the original drawings for his newly created picture book, "Haiiro no Boku to Orenji no Aitsu" (Gray Me and Orange Him). A story of friendship between a lonely wolf and a fox is depicted against deeply layered sumi ink landscapes, quietly inviting visitors into the "black forest." In addition, a total of 180 original picture book drawings, starting with his debut work "Saru-kun to Otsuki-sama" (Monkey and the Moon), will be on display, allowing you to experience the gentleness of Mr. Taniguchi's picture books that conveys meaning even without words. Santa Claus objects will also appear at the venue, bringing smiles to visitors.
