Tsuruma Park Summer Festival Big Operation Part 2

On the 2 days of August 22 (Sat) and 23 (Sun), 2026, Summer Festival Big Operation Part 2 will be held at Tsuruma Park. As the second installment following the Summer Festival Big Operation held in July, this edition features the Oyaji Night Market where games such as Struck Out, target shooting, and yo-yo balloon fishing can be enjoyed. In addition, the slipper tossing championship Tsurulympics will be held with a participation fee of 100 yen (comes with a 100-yen discount coupon for festival games). At the children's festival area, visitors can enjoy floating toy scooping & kids target shooting, medaka (Japanese killifish) scooping, animal fortune-telling, and more. Furthermore, sports experiences such as kick target and pickleball are planned. On the mini-stage, the cross-cultural musical unit Ichoisshi will present Sounds of Biwa x Shakuhachi x Trumpet, and The Glee Funkers will perform a stage show of Disney Western songs & Western music. The venue is Tsuruma Park, directly connected to Grandberry Park, making it ideal for families to visit and make summer vacation memories during the cool evening and nighttime hours.
