Tsukushino Sugiyama Shrine Annual Grand Festival

At Tsukushino Sugiyama Shrine, the 2026 (Reiwa 8) Community Summer Festival and Annual Grand Festival Dedication Entertainment will be held. The event date is Saturday, August 29, but in case of rain or dangerously intense heat, it will be postponed to Saturday, September 5. This year, Kokoro Umeyani will be invited. Regarding the departure procession (Miyadashi) of the Children's Mikoshi for the annual grand festival, following discussions with local neighborhood associations to prevent heatstroke, it has been decided to hold it in late September this year. While the annual grand festival is held in late August every year, the timing for the children's mikoshi has been changed. On the day of the annual grand festival, the children's mikoshi departure, formal ceremonies, dedication entertainment, and a song show are scheduled. Admission is free.
