Fussa Base Side Street Flea Market

The Fussa Base Side Street Flea Market is held on the second Sunday of every month at Friendship Park, a municipal park along Route 16 directly in front of the US Air Force Yokota Air Base. The area along Route 16 opposite Yokota Air Base, known as "Fussa R16 BASE SIDE STREET," is famous as a town where visitors can experience an American atmosphere while in Japan. Around 50 vendors participate, offering American goods, antique furniture, vintage clothing, and handmade crafts, along with unique items such as upcycled kimono and handcrafted goods. As an American-style market, it is a popular event among flea market enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy shopping for vintage clothing and more while American music plays in the background. Admission is free.
