The 30th Akiruno City Industrial Festival

Akiruno City's proud autumn festival, the '30th Akiruno City Industrial Festival', will be held at Tokyo Metropolitan Akirudai Park. Many businesses and producers in the city will display and sell their products and produce, allowing visitors to savor the goods and food unique to Akiruno City. In the exhibition and sales area, local businesses will showcase and sell their products. Delicious food and beverages can be enjoyed in the dining area and kitchen car (food truck) area. The regional specialties corner will feature sales of special products from Kurihara City in Miyagi Prefecture (friendship sister city) and Oshima Town in Tokyo (friendship city), an exhibition from the international sister city of Marlborough, and tourism promotions for Akiruno City. The automobile exhibition corner will display cars by businesses in the city, while the agriculture and forestry corner will display and sell agricultural produce and farm machinery. In addition, diverse attractions are scheduled, including free distribution of compost (cow manure), norabona greens seedlings, and blueberry saplings (*subject to change depending on production status), a calf sketching session for elementary school children and younger (canceled in case of rain), farm produce judging and direct sales, and stage events by local groups. Commemorating the milestone 30th edition this year, a rest space next to the food truck area and spectator seating in front of the special stage have been set up to enhance visitors' enjoyment of the event.
