About this event
"Fussa Base Side Street Flea Market" is a flea market held on the second Sunday of every month at Friendship Park in Fussa City. Located along Route 16 in front of Yokota Air Base of the United States Air Force, it takes place in the "Fussa R16 BASE SIDE STREET" area where you can experience an American atmosphere while in Japan. Around 50 stalls selling American goods, antique furniture, vintage clothing, and handmade crafts line the venue, offering unique items such as remade kimono and handmade goods. As an American-style market, it is popular among flea market enthusiasts, and visitors can enjoy shopping while listening to American music. Admission is free and the venue is within walking distance of JR Higashi-Fussa Station, Ushihama Station, and Fussa Station; however, there is no parking available. Visitors must use nearby coin-operated parking lots. The event is organized by the Fussa Musashino Shopping Street Promotion Association with the cooperation of the Citizens' Association for Recycling.
