The 23rd Nishitokyo Citizens' Festival, held every autumn in Nishitokyo City, marks its 23rd edition this year. With the theme of "A Citizens' Festival Created by Everyone," this event puts local residents in the spotlight. The venue is Nishitokyo Ikoinomori Park, where passionate performances by citizens will be showcased on the outdoor stage and Performance Street. In the booth area, numerous stalls featuring food and exhibits by citizens and local businesses will line up, providing an opportunity to experience local restaurants, schools, cultural groups, government administration, agriculture, and welfare all at once. In the past, character shows for children, hands-on experience booths, and exhibits related to the fire department and police have also been held, making it enjoyable for families. Admission is free, with no advance reservations or admission tickets required. The event will be held rain or shine with no postponement.
