The 'Yama-no-Furusato Mura Autumn Festival' will be held at Tokyo Metropolitan Okutama Lakeside Park Yama-no-Furusato Mura. The theme of this year's autumn festival is 'Okutama and Deer,' taking place over two days on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, during the season when the autumn foliage around Okutama is at its most vibrant. At the venue, visitors can enjoy foods such as venison soup, mushroom soup, and Okutama kamameshi; play activities like rock-paper-scissors tournaments with Wasapi, log-sawing competitions, and Fuwafuwa (inflatable playground equipment); and workshops such as deer antler strap making and hunting craft studios. In addition, forest concerts, performances of local traditional arts 'Kotaba no Ohayashi' and 'Ogouchi no Kashima Odori,' and various performances are scheduled. There is also plenty of shopping available, including handmade craft studios, kimchi, plant-dyed goods, ceramics, and vegetables, and the Yama-no-Furusato Mura restaurant 'Gohan Cafe Yamasemi' will also be open. Admission and parking are free.
