Miura Beach in Autumn Fest & Beach Seine Fishing Tournament

About this event

This is a beach seine fishing tournament held concurrently with the "Miura Beach in Autumn Fest" taking place at Miura Beach on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Anyone from adults to children can participate and experience pulling a beach seine net together. Reception is from 9:30 to 9:45, and the beach seine netting will take place for about 30 minutes starting around 10:01. The participation fee is 2,000 yen for high school students and older, 1,000 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and free for preschool children (insurance included). Fish caught in the net will be displayed for observation and cannot be taken home. The event requires prior application with a registration deadline of Friday, September 18, but applications will close once capacity is reached. The event may be canceled in the event of stormy weather or rough seas. This event is held as part of the "Miura Beach in Autumn Fest," which aims to revitalize the local community.
