'Miura Citizens Festival' is an event created together by the citizens of Miura to promote community interaction. Serving as a venue to present the results of citizens' daily activities, projects were called for under a wide range of themes including welfare, environment, education, culture, sports, and citizen exchange, with 128 organizations and 135 projects participating. At the venue, introductions of each organization's activities, hands-on experiences, bazaars, product sales, and flea markets will be set up. In the food stall zone of the Hatsuse Civic Center, the 'Umaimono-ichi' (Delicious Food Market) will be held, featuring 16 planned stalls where you can savor the flavors of Miura, including tuna cutlet burgers and fatty tuna chimaki (rice dumplings). Hula dance and folk songs will be performed on the indoor stage, while rock and gospel will be performed on the outdoor stage. In addition, as a special project commemorating the 50th anniversary of the sister city exchange between Suzaka City in Nagano Prefecture and Miura City, sales of Suzaka specialties such as apples and oyaki dumplings will be expanded. The opening will be performed by the Suzaka City Fire Department Bugle Corps. A stamp rally where you can win prizes by visiting 5 points within the venue will also be held. A free shuttle bus will operate between Misakiguchi Station and Shiokaze Arena.
