26th Castle Town Odawara Two-Day March

Set in Odawara City, Hakone Town, Manazuru Town, and Yugawara Town in Kanagawa Prefecture, the "26th Castle Town Odawara Two-Day March" will fascinate walking enthusiasts across two days on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, 2026. With the main venue at Odawara Castle Park Akagane Gate Plaza, routes starting from the Yugawara Town Disaster Prevention Community Center are also established. On the first day, a 20 km course offering scenic views of Sagami Bay from the Hakone Yumoto Onsen district and Ishigakiyama Ichiya Castle, a 10 km course exploring fishing ports and the coastline, and a 5 km course for families and beginners are available. On the second day, a 20 km Pilgrimage Highway Kozuyama Course with views of Sagami Bay and Mt. Fuji, a 10 km Sengoku Period Course exploring the outer perimeter (Sogamae) of Odawara Castle, and a 6 km course for enjoying gourmet snacking and photogenic spots are established. Furthermore, a 20 km course walking from Yugawara Makuyama to Manazuru Cape can also be enjoyed. Along each course, participants can savor historic old roads, charming townscapes, rich nature, and beautiful ocean scenery. Towels will be provided as participation souvenirs, and finishers will be awarded a completion certificate. As special projects, guided sightseeing walks and a walking rally for everyone will be held concurrently, offering new ways to enjoy walking.
