About this event
This event is held in Kiyokawa Village as part of "Kanagawa Kenmin Hall is Coming! Everywhere Music Delivery," which allows people to easily enjoy music across various parts of the prefecture while the Kanagawa Kenmin Hall is closed. Musicians associated with Kanagawa Prefecture will arrive on a specially equipped trailer stage to perform Japanese nursery rhymes and memorable masterpieces. The performers are Kanagawa-born pianist Masanori Kato, well known from NHK-FM's "Tsubasa on the Keyboard," and charming soprano singer Eri Unoki. Scheduled program pieces include Yamada Kosaku's "Akatombo" (Red Dragonfly) and Yoko Kanno's "Hana wa Saku" (Flowers Will Bloom). Set in the lush natural location of Miyagase Lakeside Park surrounded by the Tanzawa Mountains, this will be an impressive and refreshing open-air concert filled with the beautiful sounds of piano and soprano vocals. Admission is free and no reservations are required, so even those who rarely have the chance to attend concerts can casually drop by and enjoy music. Each performance is scheduled for about 30 minutes, held twice at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM.
