Held in Minami Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, 'Blessings of Wind and Earth: Minami Ward Kite Festival & Industry Fair' is an event combining a kite-themed festival and a local industry fair. Visitors can see giant kites and unique kites that they normally do not have the chance to encounter, and even fly them. In addition, the industry fair offers sales of local agricultural produce and sampling sales of the specialty Shirone Pork, allowing you to fully enjoy the autumn tastes of Minami Ward. It is an event that heralds the arrival of autumn where you can savor the 'delicious' and 'fun' charms of Minami Ward. In case of rain, it will be held at the adjacent Shirone Culture Center, with some exceptions.
