Let's Carve Eraser Stamps! Learning Gear Mechanics with LEGO (Mini Edition)

About this event

This event is held as part of 'Machinaka Campus Nagaoka' in Nagaoka City. Using LEGO blocks, gears, and parts, participants can learn hands-on how power is transmitted in everyday machinery. It helps in understanding the mechanisms of familiar machines such as clocks and cars. In addition to the lecture, a free experience booth will be set up from 13:30 to 16:00, open for participation without prior registration. The event is intended for elementary school students and their guardians, with 10 pairs per session (lottery). LEGO blocks cannot be taken home. Faculty members from National Institute of Technology, Nagaoka College (Nagaoka KOSEN) will be invited as guests to explain specialized knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner.
