9th Kashiwazaki Autumn Harvest Festival
Japanese name:第9回かしわざき秋の収穫祭
📅 Sun, Oct 25, 2026
About this event
A major food-centric event in Kashiwazaki, the "Autumn Harvest Festival," will be held. Freshly harvested rice, fresh vegetables, fruits, and processed foods such as pickles from Kashiwazaki will be on sale. From restaurants in the city, visitors can enjoy Kashiwazaki gourmet foods and onigiri sets, including tai chazuke (sea bream over rice), hamayaki (grilled seafood), ganmo (fried tofu fritters), roasted sweet potatoes, rice flour crepes, and muffins made with local ingredients. In addition, there will be a "Working Vehicles" display featuring agricultural machinery, fire trucks, Self-Defense Forces vehicles, and garbage trucks, as well as many food trucks and stalls. Scheduled events also include all-you-can-stuff onion bags, a rock-paper-scissors game with stall vendors to win prizes, stage performances by local high school students, Yosakoi dancers, and dance teams, and a live TikTok food review broadcast by Shiori-chan, a native of Kashiwazaki. With a wood interaction corner and a chance to spin the lottery wheel (garapon) through a local production for local consumption stamp rally, there is plenty of content for the whole family to enjoy.
