Held in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, the "Town Planning and Civil Engineering / Construction Fair 2026" is packed with various hands-on attractions for children and adults alike, starting with an exhibition of paintings drawn by 5th and 6th-grade elementary school students in the city. In the backhoe operation experience, participants can take on unique challenges such as earth loading and a simulated fish-catching game. In addition, riding experiences in aerial work platforms and 10-ton dump trucks offer a rare and valuable opportunity not usually available. Furthermore, activities that stimulate creativity are prepared, including ICT simulator experiences, log cutting and woodworking workshops, and origami sessions. Inflatable playground equipment will also be set up at the venue so small children can play to their heart's content. A snack corner is fully equipped, making it an event that families can enjoy all day long. A Garapon raffle open to all visitors will be held as well, featuring numerous lavish prizes with no losing tickets.
