About this event
The '39th Gosen City Taro Festival' will be held, where you can savor Gosen City's prized brand taro, 'Kinuotome'. Let's enjoy an autumn of harvest, an autumn of appetite, and an autumn of taro in Gosen. On the day, after enjoying the joy of harvest through a taro harvesting experience, you can savor Gosen's autumn flavors with warm 'taro soup' and 'freshly harvested Koshihikari rice balls'. The taro harvesting experience has a participation fee of 500 yen, with registration open from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Capacity is 700 people for the general category and 500 people for the family category. Taro soup will be sold for 500 yen per bowl, and a 2-pack of freshly harvested Koshihikari rice balls for 300 yen. Spot sales of taro and local specialty products are also scheduled to take place at the venue. Please fully enjoy the autumn flavors and experiences of Gosen.
