About this event
'Kanose School Festa,' planned and operated by the Horigome Seminar of the Faculty of Collaborative Creation at Niigata University, will be held on Monday (national holiday), October 12, 2026, at the former Kanose Elementary School in Aga Town. This event was organized by students studying business administration in a practical manner, aiming to share local charms and foster connections between people. Designed for both children and adults to enjoy, the day will feature 'riddle solving,' 'workshops,' and 'food trucks.' In particular, the riddle-solving activity titled 'Challenge from Phantom Thief Agari' is designed so participants find treasure by solving mysteries hidden within the former Kanose Elementary School. This riddle-solving is aimed at elementary school students and their families, requires advance registration, and gifts will be prepared. It is a warm, community-oriented event where students take the lead to energize the local area.
