About this event
The 'Oishi Dam Lakeside Festival' is an event to enjoy an autumn day in Sekikawa Village along the shores of Oishi Dam Lake. In addition to food, drink, and retail stalls as well as stage events, the venue is packed with programs that children and adults alike can enjoy, such as woodworking classes, horseback riding experiences, a cardboard maze, and 'Aerial Exploration' riding in an aerial work platform vehicle. Furthermore, at another venue, tours inside Oishi Dam—normally closed to the public—and kayaking experiences on Oishi Dam Lake are also scheduled. Stage programs including wadaiko drumming, dance, and rap can also be enjoyed. It will be a day to feel close to the nature of Oishi Dam and Sekikawa Village while playing beside the forest and lake.
