Toyama Marathon 2026 is a marathon held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, allowing participants to experience the majestic nature and beautiful scenery of Toyama Prefecture. Starting in front of Takaoka City Hall, the course takes runners through charming townscapes, across the Shinminato Bridge (normally a motor-vehicle-only expressway that can only be run during the Toyama Marathon), offers panoramic views of Toyama Bay and the Tateyama Mountain Range, passes through peaceful rural landscapes, and finishes at Fugan Canal Kansui Park in Toyama City. With a generous time limit of approximately 7 hours, even beginners can aim to finish. The event welcomes participants with Toyama-exclusive food stations and various cheering events showcasing traditional culture, while also implementing initiatives toward achieving the SDGs. In addition to the full marathon, a wheelchair division (approx. 9 km) and a jogging division (approx. 4 km) are also held. Runner check-in takes place the day before the race at YKK AP Arena.
