Tateyama Brewing, located in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture, will hold a special autumn brewery opening event as the season arrives. Taking place at the head office brewery factory, which is usually closed to the public, a variety of programs enjoyable for families throughout the day are prepared. On stage, you can enjoy dynamic Japanese taiko drum performances by the local Nakano Jurin Taiko and Etchu Isami Taiko Preservation Society, as well as performances by local folk song groups. A workshop to experience the appeal of Japanese drums with your whole body will also be held. Limited-quantity special brewery-exclusive sake crafted for this event will be introduced and available for purchase on-site. A Kids Fun Zone will also appear with hands-on corners like plate spinning and mini magic tricks to bring smiles to both children and adults. Numerous food trucks serving delicious meals will be present, filling both your stomach and heart. The opening ceremony will kick off lively with guest greetings, a sake barrel opening ceremony (kagami biraki), and complimentary sake serving. Furthermore, a raffle will be held where you can win masu wooden cups, special T-shirts, Daiginjo sake, and more. A master-guided tour (advance reservation required) is also available to learn about the artisans' dedication through all five senses and receive limited-edition souvenir sake.
