About this event

Held as a commemorative project for the 60th anniversary of the Tonami Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division, "TONAMIRAIFES 2026 - Connecting Gratitude -" is a participatory event imbued with gratitude toward the local community and hopes for future development. A corner will be set up to experience "Obstacle Sports," a new modern pentathlon event debuting at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics for the first time in the Hokuriku region, offering an authentic obstacle race that adults and children alike can enjoy. Additionally, a diverse program distilling regional charm will be featured, including occupational work experience with the cooperation of local companies, working vehicle exhibitions, and stage events such as Yosakoi dancing, brass band performances, and a mochi pounding and sharing gathering. In the gourmet area, delicious specialties of Tonami will gather, including limited-edition original curry bread. It is an attraction-packed festival creating vibrant regional community energy.
