Trail Run × Trail Clean (Guest: Hiroki Ishikawa) Event

About this event

This special trail running event in Kamiichi Town, Toyama Prefecture, features Hiroki Ishikawa, Japan's first professional trail runner, as a guest. In a practical training session designed for experienced trail runners, participants will run an approximately 10 km trail course around Mt. Hage while receiving lectures from Mr. Ishikawa. Practical content includes uphill and downhill movements, race fueling and pacing strategies, and conditioning to prevent injuries. Following the training, a trail clean activity will be conducted to show gratitude to the fields that were run on, offering a chance to reflect on how to interact with nature and what small steps each person can take. At the end of the event, a lunchtime roundtable discussion will be held where participants can interact and exchange information with Hiroki Ishikawa while enjoying a bento from the Kamiichi ryotei restaurant 'Kasei'. It promises to be a fulfilling day where you can fully enjoy the appeal of trail running while fostering gratitude toward nature.
